The Chicago Bears were defeated by the Minnesota Vikings, 9-3, in a brutal Week 2 showing. But, believe it or not, that wasn't their biggest loss of the game after quarterback Caleb Williams went down with a leg injury late in game.
Williams was in extreme pain following a first-down run in the red zone, when he went down and grabbed his right hamstring. He couldn't put any weight on his leg and was helped off the field. Williams was carted to the locker room, where he was emotional but gave the cheering home crowd a thumbs up on his way out.
There's concern about Williams' status moving forward. But what's the latest on his injury?

Caleb Williams injury update
The Bears announced that Williams suffered a right hamstring injury in Sunday's loss to the Vikings. He was also
ruled out for the remainder of the game. Backup quarterback Tyson Bagent replaced Williams in the fourth quarter and was unable to mount a late comeback. Head coach Ben Johnson has yet to comment on Williams' injury, which is expected after the game.
How much time will Caleb Williams miss?
It's currently unclear how much time that Williams will miss with his right hamstring injury, as the Bears have yet to give a timeline. Although, he didn't finish the rest of Sunday's game against the Vikings. Stay tuned for the latest updates.
