The Chicago Bears suffered a brutal loss to the Minnesota Vikings, which also unfortunately included quarterback Caleb Williams, who exited in the fourth quarter with a hamstring injury.
It was a scary situation in real time, where Williams went down on an attempted run in the red zone -- for what looked like a sure-fire touchdown -- and grabbed his hamstring and screamed in agony. Williams had to be helped off the field by trainers and was carted to the locker room, where he gave the thumbs up to the Soldier Field crowd cheering him on.
After the game, Bears rookie cornerback Malik Muhammad talked about the mood on the sideline after Williams went down with an injury, and it sums up how every Bears fan felt in the moment.
"I was worried," Muhammad
said. "If No. 18 gets hurt, I'm worried. The whole stadium was worried -- maybe the whole world."

Williams will have imaging done on his right hamstring on Monday, which will determine the severity and how much time he'll likely miss. But head coach Ben Johnson said his quarterback was in "good spirits" after the game, where he was spotted by reporters walking around the locker room with perhaps a slight limp.
Muhammad spoke with Williams after the game, and he shared the encouraging message from Williams about his health.
"He should be good. I asked him after the game if he’s going to be good. He’s going to be good," Muhammad said, adding that Williams is "always in good spirits."
When Williams exited with his hamstring injury, he was replaced by backup Tyson Bagent, who nearly led a game-winning drive in the final minute that fell just short in a 9-3 loss to the Vikings.
