The Chicago Bears are on the verge of defeating the New England Patriots but they may have still suffered a major loss. Veteran tight end Cole Kmet suffered what could be a serious knee injury late in the fourth quarter as the Bears were driving to close out the game.
Kmet caught a pass from quarterback Caleb Williams and took a big hit to his right knee while running up the sideline. He was down for a few minutes before being carted away to the locker room. The Bears quickly ruled Kmet out with a knee injury.

There hasn't been a more durable Bears player in recent memory than Kmet, who has missed just one game in seven seasons. Hopefully the injury isn't as serious as it
seems, but it's possible the Bears are without one of their most valuable offensive contributors for the foreseeable future. Kmet had three receptions for 28 yards in the game.
