The Chicago Bears took an embarrassing loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. They went in with high expectations, despite being without star quarterback Caleb Williams for the third straight week. But Ben Johnson and his squad were finally handed that piece of humble pie that they haven't had in a long time.
Nobody can expect anyone to dominate every week that they play without their starting quarterback. Case Keenum and Tyson Bagent have had their moments, but nothing is like a true starting-caliber quarterback in the National Football League. Now that there is some recent film out on both of them, Green Bay was prepared.
Despite the loss, there are a few plays that may be worth going back and watching. For the team, these are the types of
plays that you can build on while scrapping the rest of the tape.
1. D'Andre Swift finds the end zone for the touchdown

The Bears did score one touchdown on Sunday when D'Andre Swift found the end zone. It was on fourth and goal, which Ben Johnson loves taking the risk in those situations, and it worked out well for the Bears. At the time, it kept them in the game by leading to the score being cut in half. Unfortunately, that would be the end of the point-scoring for the offense.
2. Austin Booker makes it two sacks in a row

Austin Booker had an amazing game. The Bears felt like they needed another great player to help with their pass rush during the off-season, but they never truly addressed it. Part of the reason for that is that they believed in Austin Booker, who had back-to-back sacks with this play. In the game overall, he had five tackles and one forced fumble to go with those two sacks.
3. Zavion Thomas has a big kick return late

It wasn't one of Ben Johnson's coaching masterpieces, far from it, but his guys play hard until the very end. With Case Keenum getting ready to come in at quarterback, Zavion Thomas gave a big effort to run a kick back 61 yards. The Bears were already being blown out at that point, but that doesn't stop Thomas or anyone else from trying to get back in it in the 4th quarter.
