The Chicago Bears will have a bit of an advantage on their side when they welcome the New York Jets to Soldier Field on Sunday, as the Jets have been struck by several key injuries.
While the Bears are likely to be without quarterback Caleb Williams for the second straight week, the Jets announced on Wednesday that they will be without multiple offensive weapons for the Week 4 showdown.
New York will be without a key starter at three different skill position spots: running back, wide receiver, and tight end, as they announced that Breece Hall (thigh), Mason Taylor (thumb), and Adonai Mitchell (finger) are all week-to-week with their respective injuries.
This will be a massive blow for the Jets offense that now will lean on veteran quarterback Geno
Smith and his top receiver Garrett Wilson, but not much else behind them. Rookie tight end Kenyon Sadiq could be a favorable target in the passing game for New York, as he is coming off the best game of his young career last week against Detroit, finishing with 7 receptions, 105 yards, and a touchdown.
The Bears have an opportunity to capitalize on missing the key players for the Jets in Week 4, looking to begin a multiple game winning streak as they carry momentum from their big win over the Eagles on Monday Night Football last week.
