Jahmyr Gibbs' three-touchdown day headlined the Detroit Lions' 31-24 Week 3 win over the New York Jets.

Gibbs finished with 20 carries for 99 yards and added seven receptions for 65 yards. The fourth-year pro had a sensational 17-yard touchdown run where he took a toss sweep right, then reversed field and made multiple Jets defenders miss before racing to the end zone.

Gibbs would add another 1-yard touchdown run and the game-winning 11-yard catch-and-run touchdown grab.

The 5-foot-9, 202-pound back became the first player player in NFL history with at least 300 yards, four rushing touchdowns, 150 yards receiving and two touchdown receptions through three games.

Detroit's defense registered five sacks, including Chuck Clark's strip-sack of Jets

quarterback Geno Smith that allowed Jack Campbell to recover the fumble to seal the win.

With the victory, the Lions improve to 2-1 and now get set for a "Sunday Night Football" showdown in Week 4 at the Carolina Panthers (1-2).
