NFL Network's Ian Rapoport joined "The Pat McAfee Show" on Tuesday morning and was asked what's next in the Joey Porter Jr. saga in the Steel City.
Porter, 26, is regarded as one of the league's best young corners. The Penn State product is open to a trade and the Pittsburgh Steelers are willing to deal him. A 6-foot-2, 193-pound corner, Porter has totaled 165 tackles, 31 passes defended and three interceptions in his first three NFL seasons with the Steelers.
Rapoport listed the Detroit Lions as a team to watch as a potential trade partner with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
"Chiefs we'll see, because, if (Mansoor) Delane is hurt, Brett Veach will make a trade. He'll be risky. He will make a trade. Lions lost Terrion Arnold. That would be another one
I'd keep an eye on," Rapoport said.

There are some teams that need corners and he's a very good player..

Porter has been eyeing a new deal in line with what other top corners have gotten this offseason. Trent McDuffie of the Rams, Denzel Ward of the Browns, Devon Whitherspoon of the Seahawks and Christian Gonzalez of the Patriots all signed new deals north of $30 million per year this offseason.
But, Porter and the Steelers couldn't reach an agreement on a contract extension before the season started and the Steelers don't negotiate during the season. Adding to his frustrations, Porter also watched teammates Nick Herbig, Keeanu Benton and Darnell Washington get extensions this offseason.
Porter was inactive for the Steelers' Week 1 opener against the Atlanta Falcons. The young corner spent Steelers training camp on the physically unable to perform list with a back injury.
The Lions created some recent financial flexibility with the contract restructures of stars Amon-Ra St. Brown and Penei Sewell.
But, Lions head coach Dan Campbell poured cold water on the idea that those restructures were paving the way for any big moves like a trade for a player like Porter.
"I don’t see that,” Campbell said on Tuesday. “I would say this, though: it gives us options, whether that be our own guys or—it just gives us flexibility here before the season starts because there’s a lot that can happen."
