It's been a tough week in the Motor City.
Hearts have been heavy as the Detroit Lions and city hope for good news with first-team All-Pro linebacker Jack Campbell.
Campbell was carted off during last Sunday's Lions win over the Minnesota Vikings after suffering a neck injury that left him hospitalized. The 26-year-old released a statement in the middle of this week, saying that he has "full movement" in his lower body and that he's "continuing to make progress with movement in my upper body."
As the Lions arrived for their game at the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, defensive coordinator Kelvin Sheppard and members of the team honored their injured teammate, wearing No. 46 Jack Campbell jerseys as they made their entrance into Hard Rock Stadium.

Campbell was placed on injured reserve on Saturday afternoon.
Campbell's injury appeared to happen on the first play of the fourth quarter as Campbell tackled Vikings tight end T.J. Hockenson.
After the play, Campbell lay face down and motionless on the Ford Field turf. Eventually, Campbell was placed on a backboard, carefully lifted, and then carted off the field. The Lions initially reported that Campbell had been transported to a local hospital where he was set to be evaluated for a neck injury.
The Lions announced on Sunday evening that Campbell was resting and would remain in a local hospital overnight for continued evaluation and monitoring.
Campbell is the Lions' leading tackler this season with 57. He ranked second in the NFL last season with 176 tackles.
Kickoff between the Lions and Dolphins in Miami Gardens, Fla., is set for 1 p.m. ET on CBS.
