The New Orleans Saints will officially be without defensive end Cam Jordan when they travel to Ford Field to battle Detroit in the Lions' 2026 season opener.
"Cam Jordan did not practice with a hamstring. Cam will not play this week," Saints head coach Kellen Moore said in his opening press remarks on Wednesday.
Jordan has been ruled out with his hamstring injury, marking just the third game he has missed in his 15-year Saints career. The 6-foot-4, 287-pound EDGE led the Saints in sacks last season with 10.5. Jordan has 132 career sacks.

Jordan's season-opening status has been in limbo since he sustained the hamstring injury on Aug. 11.
