After a crucial 19-15 victory for Detroit (5-2) over NFC North-leading Minnesota on Sunday evening at Ford Field, Lions fans and media members flooded social media with their celebratory reactions to the emotional win.
While Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores held the Lions' offense in check in the first half, Detroit's hard-nosed offensive production and key second-half defensive stops helped the Lions pull off a gritty five-point win.
Quarterback Jared Goff finished his day completing 18 of 25 passes for 176 yards, with his lone touchdown pass to Jameson Williams proving to be the game-winner. Gibbs was spectacular, rushing for 153 yards and a dazzling 30-yard touchdown run, and Sione Vaki added a pivotal 65 yards on the ground.
Unfortunately
for the Lions, they suffered five injuries on the defensive end of the ball, with linebacker Jack Campbell being carted off the field under frightening circumstances in the fourth quarter.
With the Lions handing the Vikings their first loss of the season, here's some of the best social media reactions to Detroit's signature W:

But if there’s one guy I’d bet the farm on making a comeback you can be proud of, it’s Jack Campbell.

They responded with an emphatic touchdown drive, a defensive stop, and then iced the game.
Showed some real heart today.
Don't let the record fool you, KoC is on a searing hot seat right now.
