The Detroit Lions (3-2) are gearing up for their first NFC North showdown in 2026 as they play host to the Green Bay Packers (4-2) on Sunday from Ford Field.
"It’s pretty exciting,” Lions head coach Dan Campbell said Monday. “It feels like it’s been a while. … You feel like everybody else has played each other and we haven’t had a chance to play anybody in our division yet. So, this is exciting to be able to open up with our division. Obviously, at home against a really good opponent who’s playing really good football right now. That’s exciting. So, we’ll be ready to go. This will be fun."
The Lions have shared good news on the injury front throughout the week. Safety Brian Branch and center Cade Mays are both back and have been full participants
in practice. Cornerback Rock Ya-Sin is also practicing, though he's been listed as a limited participant on each of the first two practice reports.
