While Brad Holmes brought the veteran
defensive end in 2023 to bolster the Lions' pass rush, injury issues and ineffectiveness kept Davenport on the sideline more often than on the field. In his two seasons with Detroit, Davenport recorded 16 tackles, seven quarterback hits, 1.5 sacks, and one tackle for loss across 10 games played (8 starts).
In his nine-year NFL career, the UTSA product finishes his career with 166 tackles, 71 quarterback hits, 28 tackles for loss, 25 sacks, seven forced fumbles, and four passes defended in 78 games (43 starts).
