The Detroit Lions (5-2) picked up a massive 19-15 victory over the Minnesota Vikings (6-1) on Sunday from Ford Field.
But, the victory was secured with heavy hearts as the Lions saw first-team All-Pro and reigning Butkus Award-winning linebacker Jack Campbell exit with a scary injury at the start of the fourth quarter.
Campbell stayed down before being placed on a backboard and carted off the field. According to the Lions, Campbell is being transported to a local hospital to be evaluated for a neck injury.
Afterwards, Lions head coach Dan Campbell opened his postgame press conference by saying the team and organization are thinking of Jack Campbell. Dan Campbell and the Lions didn't have any new information on Jack Campbell's injury status at the time.

"Let me start with this, thoughts and prayers are with Jack and his family. He's being taken care of. We don't have any new information. We'll keep you updated as this goes, but we're thinking about him," Campbell said of his star linebacker.
Jack Campbell is a fourth-year linebacker out of Iowa. The 6-foot-5, 246-pound linebacker finished second in the NFL last season with 176 tackles.
Campbell signed a four-year, $81 million contract extension with the Lions in May.
