The Detroit Lions welcome in the New Orleans Saints to Ford Field to begin their 2026 NFL season.
Dan Campbell and the Lions hope to rebound from a disappointing 9-8 finish in 2025. While it marked Detroit's fourth straight winning season, the Lions missed the playoffs after winning the NFC North in both 2023 and 2024.
In order to help get the franchise back on track, Detroit hired Drew Petzing as its new offensive coordinator. Petzing inherits an offense that features star quarterback Jared Goff and a plethora of weapons in Jahmyr Gibbs, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams and Sam LaPorta.
