The Detroit Lions' latest update on linebacker Jack Campbell brings good news.
Lions head coach Dan Campbell is set to speak with reporters on Monday afternoon, but Detroit released a new statement on Jack Campbell's status before coach Campbell's scheduled press conference:
"Jack Campbell continues to rest and recover at a local hospital. Preliminary indications are positive and out of respect for Jack and his family we will not share further information at this time," the Lions wrote in their statement.

Campbell suffered a scary injury during Sunday's
19-15 Lions win over the Minnesota Vikings.
Campbell's injury appeared to happen on the first play of the fourth quarter as Campbell tackled Vikings tight end T.J. Hockenson.
After the play, Campbell lay face down and motionless on the Ford Field turf. Eventually, Campbell was placed on a backboard, carefully lifted, and then carted off the field. The Lions initially reported that Campbell had been transported to a local hospital where he was set to be evaluated for a neck injury.
The Lions announced on Sunday evening that Campbell was resting and would remain in a local hospital overnight for continued evaluation and monitoring.
