The Detroit Lions revealed their initial 53-man roster on Sunday night.

Offensively, some of the key decisions included Josh Dobbs winning the backup quarterback job, the Lions keeping just four wide receivers and tight end Jackson Meeks making the 53-man roster.

Defensively, rookie linebacker Jimmy Rolder avoided the injured list, safeties Brian Branch and Kerby Joseph were placed on the PUP list and undrafted free agent Eric O’Neill made the roster.
