The Detroit Lions (3-2) picked up an impressive 45-21 road win over the Arizona Cardinals (1-4) from State Farm Stadium.
It sends the Lions into their bye week on an uptick.
While there were a number of great performances across the board from Detroit, the Lions suffered a pair of key injuries during the win. Linebacker Devin White exited with a forearm injury
, and wide receiver and return man Tom Kennedy exited with a knee injury. Both were eventually ruled out. After the win, Lions head coach Dan Campbell updated the pair's injury statuses.
"It doesn't look good. I think Devin's probably going to need surgery. Broken forearm. It's unfortunate, man. I hate it, because he was doing some good things for us in this game. And then, TK, it doesn't look good as far
as anything short-term. We'll know a lot more tomorrow. I think it could be a sprain somewhere in there, you know, a pretty good sprain. But, neither one of them are going to be around for a little bit here, so I hate that, man. Both players have done a really good job for us," Campbell said.

Campbell indicated that Kennedy could be back at some point this season.
"TK I really thought hit it, man. We kind of challenged him on hitting some of these returns, and his first one was outstanding. The second one, he caught it, and he put his foot in the ground. I mean, he took it to heart. I hate it for him that that happened. But, I don't think it's long-, long-term. I think this is something that we're going to miss him for a little bit. We'll see," Campbell said.
The Lions will return to action in Week 7 with a home date against the Green Bay Packers (3-2) at Ford Field on Sunday, Oct. 25. Kickoff for that game is slated for 4:25 p.m. ET on FOX.
