The Detroit Lions released their Thursday injury report, revealing that guard Ben Bartch (foot) and safety Thomas Harper (ankle) didn't practice.
The Lions just lost defensive back Avonte Maddox for the season and are still navigating at least the first four games without starting safeties Brian Branch and Kerby Joseph.
A trio of Lions were limited participants. Starting linemen Christian Mahogany (hip), Tate Ratledge (elbow) and Blake Miller (knee) were all limited on Thursday.

Detroit did see the return of starting defensive tackle Alim McNeill as a full participant. McNeill was out on Wednesday for personal reasons. EDGE Ahmed Hassanein (illness) was also upgraded to a full participant on Thursday.
Long snapper Hogan Hatten (wrist) was the final Detroit player listed. Hatten was a full participant.

Four Jets didn't practice on Thursday: safety Minkah Fitzpatrick (groin), linebacker Kiko Mauigoa (quad), running back Kene Nwangwu (back) and tight end Mason Taylor (thumb).
Wide receiver Adonai Mitchell (finger) was also added to the Jets' Thursday injury report as a limited participant. EDGE Joseph Ossai is a limited participant.
