The Miami Dolphins have had a lot of movement in their running back room over the last week or so, as they lost running back De'Von Achane to a torn ACL in their Week 3 matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs.
To fill Achane's spot in the room, Miami signed Carlos Washington Jr. to their 53-man roster from their practice squad. However, after their Week 4 matchup with the Minnesota Vikings, the Dolphins released Washington on Monday.
On Wednesday, Miami announced that they've re-signed Washington their practice squad, filling their lone empty spot there. They still have one spot open on their 53-man roster.
The Dolphins didn't use Washington at all in Week 4, but with just Ollie Gordon II and Jaylen Wright on the 53-man roster, they might consider
elevating him or second-year running back Jarquez Hunter to provide depth at the position in case anyone else goes down on Sunday.
