With the regular season roughly a month away, there are still plenty of veterans across the NFL looking for their next opportunity, including several players who used to play for the Miami Dolphins.
However, one of them found a new home on Monday, as ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah is signing a one-year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Ogbah, 32, entered the league as a second-round pick in the 2016 NFL draft out of Oklahoma State. He spent three years with the Cleveland Browns and one year with the Chiefs (where he won a Super Bowl), before playing five seasons in Miami.
With the Dolphins, Ogbah appeared in 73 games and recorded 163 tackles (28 for a loss), 72 quarterback hits, 29.5 sacks, 21 passes defensed, five
forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and two interceptions.
After the 2024 season, Ogbah signed a one-year deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars and recorded 15 tackles, four quarterback hits, one fumble recovery and a half-sack in 13 games last year.
