What is the story about?

The Miami Dolphins have had to make some changes to the bottom of their roster and practice squad through the first few weeks of the season, and that continued on Monday when the team waived linebacker Liam Anderson.

However, after Anderson passed through waivers, the Dolphins signed him back to their practice squad on Wednesday.

The 26-year-old spent five years at Holy Cross from 2018-22 before signing with the Indianapolis Colts after going undrafted in 2023. Following two years in Indianapolis, he spent some time with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2025 and joined the Dolphins this year.

While Anderson started on the practice squad, he was promoted to the active roster on Saturday. He made his Dolphins debut against the San Francisco 49ers and recorded

his first professional tackle.
