The 1-5 Miami Dolphins will meet the 4-3 New England Patriots at Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday for their first of two matchups this year.
Ahead of the game, the Dolphins elevated two players from their practice squad to the active roster, giving them 55 players heading into Sunday. The two players Miami elevated are kicker Zane Gonzalez and defensive end Max Llewellyn.
Gonzalez, 31, rejoined the Dolphins' practice squad earlier this month and was elevated last week. Against the New York Jets, he made all four of his extra points and didn't attempt a field goal. The team can elevate him one more time this year.
Llewellyn, 24, played at Iowa from 2021-25 before the Dolphins took him in the seventh round of this year's draft. He failed to make the roster
out of camp, but he's been elevated twice already, playing 12 total snaps (four on defense and eight on special teams). This is his third and final elevation, so if Miami wants him to play again, they'll have to sign him to the 53-man roster.
