The Miami Dolphins made a huge move on Saturday when they traded quarterback Quinn Ewers to the Jacksonville Jaguars for a 2028 sixth-round pick, leaving them with just three quarterbacks on the roster.
Now, on Sunday, the Dolphins are reportedly waiving quarterback Cam Miller, according to the Miami Herald's Barry Jackson.
Miller, 25, was a sixth-round pick of the Las Vegas Raiders in 2025 following a collegiate career at North Dakota State. After spending most of his rookie season on Las Vegas' practice squad, Miami signed him in January.
In three preseason games this year, he completed just 42.1% of his passes for 170 yards with two interceptions.
This move leaves the Dolphins with just Malik Willis and Mark Gronowski in the quarterback room,
but it may point to Miami claiming a quarterback before Week 1.
