The Miami Dolphins started the season with two players on the reserve/PUP list, which forces them to sit out for at least the first four games of the year, but they can begin practicing after the first two.
On Wednesday, Dolphins cornerback Storm Duck returned to practice, marking the start of his road back from a season-ending knee injury he suffered in 2025.
Duck, 25, played at North Carolina from 2019-22, earning All-SEC honors once, before ending his collegiate career at Louisville. After going undrafted in 2024, he signed with the Dolphins and has been with the team since.
In 16 games over his two professional seasons, he's recorded 37 tackles and five passes defensed.
Miami could definitely use Duck in their secondary. If he comes back fully
healthy, he may even find himself competing for a starting job alongside JuJu Brents and first-round pick Chris Johnson.
