The Miami Dolphins will take on the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday for a Week 5 battle at Hard Rock Stadium that presents Jeff Hafley's team with the opportunity to earn their first win of their 2026 campaign.
Each week, every team can elevate up to two players from the practice squad to the active roster, and for Week 5, the Dolphins have called up running back Carlos Washington Jr. and defensive end Rodney McGraw.
Washington, 27, spent his first three seasons with the Atlanta Falcons after a collegiate career split between New Hampshire (2017-21) and Southeastern Louisiana (2022). He appeared in two games over the last two seasons, but he hasn't touched the ball. This year, he's bounced back and forth between Miami's roster and practice squad.
McGraw, 24, played at Penn State and Western Michigan before the Dolphins signed him as an undrafted free agent this year. He made his NFL debut last week against the Minnesota Vikings and recorded two tackles and a quarterback hit.
This is Washington's first of three elevations, and this is McGraw's second. If either player reaches the three-elevation maximum, they have to be signed to the 53-man roster to appear in a game.
