What is the story about?
After
a week off, the Miami Dolphins returned to action on Sunday afternoon, as they took on the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium and walked out with a 28-25 win over their AFC East rivals.
This victory over the Jets gives the Dolphins a 1-5 record on the year and puts them just one game behind New York for third place in the division. However, with just the one win, they still are in position to pick third in the 2027 NFL Draft if the season ended today.
As we continue to disect this divisional battle, let's take a look at Miami's offensive and defnesive snap counts from the win.
Offense
- Douglas played a significant role in his return to action, playing 44 offensive snaps and catch two passes for 70 yards and two touchdowns.

- Wayne played 15% in his debut since replacing Ryan Miller.
- Traore's 11 offensive snaps is the most he's had this year after making offensive debut in Week 5 with just one snap on that side of the ball.
Defense
- Rodriguez is a full-time player and probably will be every week.
- Marshall saw a dip in his action, going from 88% before the bye week to 59% against the Jets.
