What is the story about?
The
Miami Dolphins welcomed the Cincinnati Bengals to Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, on Sunday, but unfortunately, Jeff Hafley's team fell 31-24 and dropped to 0-5 to start their 2026 campaign.
Miami's offense continues to show some signs of life on the ground, but the passing game has been horrendous with Malik Willis under center. Defensively, the Dolphins allowed Joe Burrow to throw for four touchdowns, including two to tight ends, which continues to be an issue for the team.
As we continue working our way through this game, let's look at the snap counts for Miami's offense and defense from this loss.
Offense
- Kingston played most of the game at right guard after Savaiinaea left with an injury early.
- Gordon continues to be the top option in the backfield since De'Von Achane tore his ACL. He's been much more efficient than Wright, so that trend should continue.
- Without Caleb Douglas, the wide receiver trio continues to be Washington, Bell and Coleman Jr. Miller and Tolbert sprinkled in at points.
Defense
- Grant plays a quarter of the defensive snaps in return from injured reserve on Sunday.
- Rodriguez continues to be a 100% player, and he now leads the league in tackles after five weeks.
- Robinson saw a dip in his playtime, as he played 64% in Week 4 and 55% in Week 5.
