The Miami Dolphins have just one week to go before they take on Kirk Cousins and the Las Vegas Raiders at Allegiant Stadium for their first game under new head coach Jeff Hafley.
During this week between the preseason and regular season, several Dolphins apparently decided to take this time to change their jersey numbers. So, before this game, let's take a second to learn who's going to be repping a different number in 2026.
- WR Kevin Coleman - changing from No. 83 to No. 21
- S Michael Taaffe - changing from No. 31 to No. 16
- TE Seydou Traore - changing from No. 49 to No. 89
- OL Caeden Wallace - changing from No. 75 to No. 77
- RB Carlos Washington Jr. - changing from No. 37 to No. 26
- DB Julius Wood - changing from No. 21 to No. 25
While a lot of these numbers are normal for the positions that these guys play, there are some questions about Coleman and Taaffe. The reason for Coleman's change is unknown at the moment, but Taaffe is going back to his collegiate number, which he took to honor his late friend Jackson Coker.
