The Miami Dolphins are down 27-13 in the fourth quarter of their Week 1 matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday, but more concerningly, they may have lost a rookie to an injury.
In the third quarter, the Dolphins announced that linebacker/safety Kyle Louis was questionable to return with a knee injury. Then, in the fourth, they announced that he won't return to action.
The 22-year-old was an intriguing prospect out of Pittsburgh whom the Dolphins took in the fourth round of the 2026 NFL Draft. He didn't do much in the preseason or training camp, so he's been a depth piece on defense and a contributor on special teams.
