After losing their first two games of the season on the road to the Las Vegas Raiders and San Francisco 49ers, the Miami Dolphins returned home in Week 3 for a matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs at Hard Rock Stadium.
Unfortunately, Miami's home opener was spoiled in a 24-10 loss, dropping the team to 0-3 since Jeff Hafley took over as the team's head coach.
Last week, USA Today's Nate Davis had the Dolphins as the worst team in the league in his power rankings at No. 32. Now, after another loss, they've remained in the same spot at the bottom of the NFL.
"You've got to feel for first-year coach Jeff Hafley, who next gets to take his overmatched, winless team to the Twin Cities − without its best player, injured RB De'Von Achane − to face the undefeated
Vikings," Davis wrote this week.
With the No. 7 Vikings, next up on the schedule, the Dolphins could absolutely move up in the power rankings for Week 5 with a win on Sunday. However, that's going to be a tough task, especially considering how ferocious Brian Flores' defense has been.
