What is the story about?
The
Miami Dolphins, surprisingly, took a 21-7 lead over the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium on Sunday into halftime, putting them in position to win their first game of the 2026 season.
However, about midway through the third quarter, the Dolphins lost one of their best defensive backs. Safety Dante Trader Jr. injured himself while tackling Jets running back Braelon Allen after a 6-yard gain.
Trader remained on the field before heading back to the locker room with some trainers. The team announced that he's questionable to return due to a shoulder injury. Zayne Anderson entered the game in his place next to Michael Taaffe.
