The Miami Dolphins lost to the Minnesota Vikings 15-10 on Sunday at U.S. Bank Stadium, and during the game, they had a pair of defensive backs leave with injuries.
On Monday, Dolphins head coach Jeff Hafley provided updates on the pair as well as a couple others working their way back from prior injuries.
Safety Dante Trader Jr., who missed some time Sunday due to a knee injury, is considered day-to-day. Cornerback Reese Taylor, who suffered a quad injury during punt coverage and didn't return to the game, is out for now.
Defensive lineman Kenneth Grant Jr., who started the season on injured reserve due to a lower-body injury, is set to begin practicing on Wednesday.
Hafley also said that he wouldn't rule out wide receiver Caleb Douglas, who has
missed the last two games with an ankle injury, for this week. He's considering him day-to-day at this point in his recovery.
Overall, that's pretty good news coming out of this week. If Miami can get Douglas and Grant back soon, those will be two big boosts to their offense and defense, respectively.
