The Atlanta Falcons kept things interesting for most of Sunday's 20-13 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, but they couldn't get the job done. Quarterback Cooper Rush threw two interceptions, including a pick-six.
The Falcons missed two key field goals and committed nine penalties. Head coach Kevin Stefanski addressed the media following the team's Week 1 road loss in Pittsburgh and was quick to point out these issues.
"If you look at the penalties, the turnovers... It's just hard to win on the road when you do those things," said Stefanski. "Those are the things we feel like we can learn from."
