Falcons release depth chart for Week 1 matchup vs. Steelers

The Atlanta Falcons released their first official depth chart for the 2026 NFL season opener on Tuesday afternoon, but we already know who will start at quarterback in Week 1. Veteran Tua Tagovailoa will serve as QB1 to begin the Kevin Stefanski era in Atlanta.

Michael Penix Jr., who will be inactive on Sunday, was listed as the fourth quarterback. Two Falcons rookies cracked the starting lineup. Second-round pick Avieon Terrell will start at the nickel, while fourth-round pick Kendal Daniels will start opposite Divine Deablo at linebacker.
