The Atlanta Falcons will play their third division game of the year this weekend against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. While both teams are dealing with some key injuries, just two players have been ruled out for Sunday's NFC South showdown in Tampa.
The Buccaneers won't have second-year wide receiver Emeka Egbuka, who's been ruled out due to a concussion. The former first-round pick leads the team with 28 catches and ranks second with 240 receiving yards this season. With Egbuka out, look for Cameron Johnson and Tez Johnson to be more involved in Week 8.
As for the Falcons, they will be without No. 2 running back Brian Robinson Jr. due to hamstring injury. Robinson, who missed the team's win over the San Francisco 49ers, did not practice at all this
week.
Since the team doesn't have another running back on the roster, we assume Khalil Herbert will be elevated from the practice squad. Herbert was elevated in Week 7 and played well filling in for Robinson.
The Falcons listed eight players as questionable for Sunday's game, including edge rusher Samsom Ebukam, linebacker Divine Deablo, cornerback Avieon Terrell and wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus.
