The Atlanta Falcons might be the most impressive 2-3 team in the NFL this season, and while that sounds like a backhanded compliment, it's actually no small feat if you consider their abysmal 0-2 start.
Star running back Bijan Robinson continues to be an unstoppable force regardless of what happens around him, but the rest of Atlanta's offense has started to hum since Michael Penix Jr. stepped in at quarterback in Week 3.
After scoring just 16 total points in their first two games of the season (8.0 points per game), the Falcons have put up 103 points over the last three weeks (34.3 points per contest) with Penix in the lineup.
Robinson currently leads the NFL with 580 rushing yards, surpassing Kansas Chiefs running back Kenneth Walker for the top
spot going into Week 6. However, it's worth noting that Walker had a bye in Week 5.

Robinson also has 157 receiving yards this season, bringing his total scrimmage yardage up to 732.
While Kyle Pitts has yet to find his footing in Atlanta's new-look offense, wide receiver Drake London has ascended into the top five at his position. London's production has been off the charts with Penix slinging the rock. The former USC standout's 488 receiving yards rank fourth in the NFL going into Week 6.
One can only imagine where London would rank if the Falcons had Penix for the first two weeks of the season. At this rate, London is on pace to put up a career-high 1,659 receiving yards.

Between Robinson and London, the duo has accounted for 1,220 total yards - the highest total of any running back-wide receiver duo in the NFL this season. And according to London, the Falcons offense is just getting started.
βThe fun part about this (offense) is that we are nowhere near our ceiling," London said. "I truthfully believe that."
That's a pretty scary thought, but based on the last few weeks, London may be onto something.
