The Atlanta Falcons appeared to be on track for the No. 1 overall pick after opening the season with two ugly losses, but Thursday's 35-14 victory over the Green Bay Packers changed things for the moment.
At 1-2, the Falcons are currently slated for the No. 9 pick in the 2027 NFL Draft, according to Tankathon. While the draft may be over six months away, it's never too early to start scouting the top college prospects.
Fortunately for the Falcons, they play near one of the NCAA's top pro football factories in the University of Georgia. The No. 2 ranked Bulldogs are off to another promising start and will host Oklahoma on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET.

Stefanski has a little extra time on his hands following Thursday night's prime-time win over the Packers. Since the Falcons don't return to the field until next Monday, it's almost like the team has a mini-bye week before their Week 4 game against the New Orleans Saints.
Falcons fans have long criticized the team for not prioritizing the Georgia-to-NFL pipeline more often. However, Atlanta broke this trend by selecting Bulldogs linebacker Jalon Walker in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft. Unfortunately, Walker tore his ACL in training camp and will miss the entire 2026 season.
Perhaps we'll see more Bulldogs join the Falcons when the 2027 NFL Draft rolls around in April.
