The Atlanta Falcons wrapped up the preseason on Friday night and have already begun trimming their roster ahead of the NFL's cut deadline. On Saturday afternoon, the team waived seven players, released three others and placed defensive back Darren Hall on the injured reserve list.
Undrafted free agent wide receiver Keelan Marion was among the notable players waived on Saturday, along with linebacker Channing Tindall, defensive back Keidron Smith, tight end Joshua Simon, and defensive tackle Devonnsha Maxwell.
Marion finished last night's finale against the Dolphins with one catch for nine receiving yards, however, he had a quiet night on Friday. Tindall, Smith and Simon each stood out in the team's preseason win over the Indianapolis Colts, but
they will have to look for work elsewhere - potentially on Atlanta's practice squad.
