The Atlanta Falcons will face the Chicago Bears in Week 6 and both teams are looking to get back on track after losing on Sunday. The Falcons blew a late lead to the Baltimore Ravens, while the Bears got thrashed by the Green Bay Packers.
Quarterback Michael Penix Jr. left the game late with a rib injury, but the former top-10 pick says he's "good to go" against Chicago. Penix was a full participant at Wednesday's practice.
Bears QB Caleb Williams, the first-overall pick in Penix's 2024 NFL Draft class, is also expected to play in Week 6. Williams missed the last two games with Grade 2 hamstring strain but was listed as a full participant on the team's estimated Wednesday injury report.
Chicago's offense was clicking on all cylinders before Williams'
injury, so the Falcons defense has a tough task on Sunday. Atlanta's defense is down a few players, with both cornerback C.J. Henderson and edge rusher Za'Darius Smith battling injuries. Henderson sat out with a groin injury, while Smith was limited with a neck injury.
