The Atlanta Falcons are back in action in Flowery Branch, but they're short on quarterbacks as they work through their first week of training camp. Michael Penix Jr. has yet to be cleared for contract and Tua Tagovailoa is dealing with an undisclosed injury.
Undrafted free agent Jack Strand and veteran backup Cooper Rush are the only two quarterbacks on the roster who are fully healthy, which isn't a great sign for a team hoping to snap an eight-year playoff drought.
Falcons president of football Matt Ryan knows a thing or two about playing quarterback in Atlanta. The former league MVP was spotted throwing to wide receivers during Thursday's practice. As you would expect, it didn't take long for NFL fans to begin speculating about a potential
return.
Even though head coach Kevin Stefanski said Ryan was not an option to fill in at quarterback, Falcons fans see it differently.

The Falcons wrapped up their second day of practice on Wednesday afternoon but will return for the first open practice Friday at IBM Performance.
