After this weekend's final preseason games, it'll be prime fantasy football drafting season. The Atlanta Falcons are blessed with at least three fantasy studs going into 2026.
Running back Bijan Robinson is not only the top option among NFL running backs, he'll be the No. 1 overall pick this year. Tight end Kyle Pitts should be a top-five performer at his position and Drake London should once again produce like a top-10 wide receiver.
Not everyone agrees with that last take, though. Gary Davenport at Bleacher Report has listed London among eight players who could "make or break" your fantasy football season. His main concern is of course Tua Tagovailoa's lack of arm strength.
"That target share matched De'Von Achane's in Miami last season. Tagovailoa's
quick-release, short-to-intermediate passing profile may not maximize London's downfield skill set. If the Falcons rush Michael Penix Jr. back from an ACL tear, as has been speculated, that would help, but it carries issues of its own given the quarterback was only just cleared to practice fully. Also, while London is immensely talented, he has also surpassed 1,000 yards just once in four years. London isn't going to vanish, but he is unlikely to finish as a top-10 fantasy receiver in 2026."
All due respect, but we disagree. While London may have only gone over the 1,000 yard mark once, he's averaged just short of that mark over four seasons, and that's with a rotating cast of below average quarterbacks.
London is also just entering his physical prime. if he'd stayed healthy for a full 17 games last season, he might have topped 1,300 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns.
If Michael Penix Jr. ends up eventually taking over at quarterback, as many expect, then the Falcons should have no trouble getting the ball to London downfield.
There is something to be said for London having to share targets with Pitts and Robinson, and perhaps Jahan Dotson or Zachariah Branch if another Falcons wide receiver finally steps up to demand a piece of the pie.
That said, we would be surprised if London didn't post top-10 numbers, even in this situation.
