The Atlanta Falcons have released their first injury report ahead of Sunday's prime-time showdown against the Baltimore Ravens. While the team did not hold a full practice due to playing a Monday night game two days ago, they listed five players on Wednesday's practice report.
Falcons left tackle Jake Matthews, linebacker Yasir Abdullah and DE Za'Darius Smith did not participate, while defensive end Cameron Thomas, linebacker Yasir Abdullah and OT Michael Jerrell were limited to begin Week 5.
As for the Ravens, they were without quarterback Lamar Jackson on Wednesday. The two-time league MVP sat out with an ankle injury and his status doesn't look for Sunday's game. Jackson isn't the only injured player for Baltimore, though.
According to Ravens.com
staff writer Clifton Brown, left tackle Ronnie Stanley, defensive lineman Calais Campbell and edge Trey Hendrickson also sat out to begin prep for Week 5.
"Other Ravens who were not participating at the beginning of practice included cornerback Marlon Humphrey (calf), left tackle Ronnie Stanley (toe), wide receiver Rashod Bateman, outside linebacker Trey Hendrickson (finger), defensive lineman Calais Campbell, and guard Andrew Vorhees (foot)," wrote Brown.
