The Atlanta Falcons have continued to tinker with their roster and practice squad following Sunday's 53-man deadline. While their roster is currently full, they still have one practice squad spot available. Many expect this spot to be filled by defensive end Zach Harrison, but the Falcons seem to be eyeing another one of their former players.
According to a report from ESPN's Marc Raimondi, the team brought in veteran defensive lineman Khalid Kareem for a workout on Tuesday. Kareem spent the last two seasons in Atlanta, appearing six total games while alternating between the 53-man roster and practice squad.
Kareem, 28, has appeared in 34 career games since being selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft out of Notre
Dame.

The Falcons signed undrafted free agent Josh Thompson to their practice squad on Tuesday afternoon. Thompson, an undrafted free agent out of LSU, signed with the Kansas City Chiefs following the 2026 NFL Draft. The rookie can provide some depth along the interior of Atlanta's offensive line.
