The Atlanta Falcons owed their fans an apology after their first two losses to open the season, and the team delivered against the Green Bay Packers on Thursday night. Despite being road underdogs on a short week, with a quarterback making his first start in over 10 months, the Falcons showed up and balled out.
Michael Penix Jr. bounced back from an early interception to go 18/25 for 256 passing yards, one touchdown and a passer rating of 101.4. The offense truly clicked on all cylinders.Drake London had nine catches for 194 receiving yards, Bijan Robinson had over 200 all-purpose yards.
Atlanta held Green Bay to 17 total rushing yards and embarrassed one of the NFL's most prestigious franchises on national TV at the historic Lambeau Field. It
was a rare good day to be a Falcons fan.
