The Atlanta Falcons have designated cornerback A.J. Terrell to return from the injured reserve list, opening his 21-day practice window this week. Terrell suffered a groin injury during the team's Week 2 loss against the Carolina Panthers and has missed the last four games on IR.
Head coach Kevin Stefanski held a press conference on Wednesday and said Terrell would be back at practice this afternoon. While there is no guarantee Terrell returns for the Falcons' Week 7 game against the San Francisco 49ers, it gives him a chance to play.
Stefanski said rookie linebacker Kendal Daniels would also practice today and that he's not in the NFL's concussion protocol.

The Falcons could actually get to key members of their secondary back in Week 7. Stefanski said cornerback C.J. Henderson would "get some work done today and we'll see how it goes," which is a great sign for the former top-10 pick.
Quarterback Andy Dalton will be inactive for Sunday's game as Stefanski said he's still getting settled in. The veteran quarterback replaced Cooper Rush on the roster earlier in the week.
Check back on Wednesday afternoon for the Falcons' first injury report for their Week 7 game against the San Francisco 49ers.
