The Atlanta Falcons' season is slipping away after losing back-to-back games, and it will only be tougher against the 6-0 San Francisco 49ers in NFL Week 7. Former Falcons head coach Raheem Morris has the 49ers defense in tip-tip shape while San Francisco's offense has been clicking on all cylinders.
The Falcons offense has come to life since Michael Penix Jr. returned to the lineup in Week 3, but they ran into some trouble against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 5 and found themselves down 21-7 in the first half against the Chicago Bears in Week 6.
Fear not, though, because the Falcons are breaking out their throwback uniforms for Sunday's game against the 49ers. Atlanta changed its uniform design over the offseason but kept the fan-favorite red
helmets in the rotation for two games.
The Falcons will rock their black throwback uniforms with these red helmets in Week 7, and they will wear them one other time this season (Week 13 against the Detroit Lions).

The Falcons and the 49ers will kick things off at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Atlanta is a heavy underdog, but they have played their best when nobody believes in them.
We'll see how head coach Kevin Stefanski's team fares against a true Super Bowl contender this weekend.
