The Atlanta Falcons have set their game-day roster for Sunday's matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. In case you missed Saturday's info dumb, the team made several last-minute roster changes ahead of Week 7.
The Falcons activated cornerback A.J. Terrell, placed offensive tackle Michael Jerrell on the injured reserve list and signed defensive end Drake Jackson from the practice squad in a corresponding move. The Falcons also promoted linebacker Brian Asamoah and running back Khalil Herbert to the roster as standard elevations.
Terrell is expected to play against the 49ers on Sunday, and the team could certainly use him with all of the injuries in the secondary. Billy Bowman Jr. is out, while C.J. Henderson and Avieon Terrell are both questionable.
Linebacker Divine Deablo is officially out as well.
Even the undermanned 49ers offense - which will be without both Mike Evans and Deebo Samuel - should be liking their chops to face this Falcons defense.
