The Atlanta Falcons shocked the NFL world in Week 7 by defeating the previously unbeaten San Francisco 49ers, but their upcoming Week 8 matchup against the 2-5 Tampa Bay Buccaneers is perhaps even more important.
While defeating a potential Super Bowl contender is a great accomplishment for Kevin Stefanski's team, the Falcons still must prove they can maintain that level of play from week to week. Sunday's game in Tampa is an opportunity for Atlanta to take control of the NFC South and show the NFL that this division has at least one respectable team.
The Falcons are dealing with a few key injuries, but only one player has been officially ruled out. Running back Brian Robinson Jr. will miss his second game in a row due to a hamstring injury. However,
eight other players have been given a questionable tag going into NFL Week 8.
Linebacker Divine Deablo, cornerback A.J. Terrell, edge rusher Samson Ebukam, defensive back Billy Bowman Jr. and wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus were all listed as questionable on the team's final Week 8 injury report.
