The Atlanta Falcons have announced their inactives for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers. Michael Penix Jr., Tua Tagovailoa and cornerback Billy Bowman Jr. are among those ruled out for Week 2.
On the bright side, Penix is expected to return in Week 3 to face the Green Bay Packers, according to NFL insiders Ian Rapoport and Adam Schefter.
The Falcons have also ruled out undrafted cornerback Malcolm DeWalt IV and offensive lineman Ethan Onianwa for today's game. Check out the team's full Week 2 inactives list below.
