New England Patriots wide receiver Mack Hollins left Sunday's game against the Buffalo early with a calf injury. He is questionable to return.
A replay showed Hollins going down with a non-contact injury during a route in the third quarter. He was later seen hopping off the field on one leg.
Losing Hollins for any length of time would be a tough blow to a Patriots offense already playing without A.J. Brown, who is currently on injured reserve with a high ankle sprain. Before going down with the injury, Hollins led the Patriots' receiving corps with 53 receiving yards.
With Brown out, he has quickly emerged into quarterback Drake Maye's favorite downfield target in games.
Maye will have to continue leaning on Romeo Doubs, Kyle Williams, DeMario Douglas
and Efton Chism III at the receiver position. They could also get the tight ends, Hunter Henry and Eli Raridon, more involved, along with the top-two running backs, Rhamondre Stevenson and TreVeyon Henderson.
